Neil Mauws, Loan Officer
Neil joined Montana Livestock in November 2025. Growing up on his family’s farm and ranch near Judith Gap, nestled in the foothills of the Little Belt Mountains, Neil learned the value of hard work and stewardship early on—a tradition his family has carried on since 1918.
After graduating from Judith Gap High School in 2007, Neil pursued his passion for agriculture at Montana State University, earning a degree in Land Resources Analysis and Management in 2011. Before joining Montana Livestock, Neil spent 13 years working in agricultural retail with a co-op, managing locations across Central Montana and the Golden Triangle. His hands-on experience in agronomy and grain operations gives him a deep understanding of Montana’s agricultural landscape, and he’s excited to bring that knowledge to Montana Livestock.
When he’s not working, Neil enjoys life outdoors with his wife, Amanda, and their three sons—James, Dominic, and Elijah. Whether it’s fishing, hunting, camping, skiing, or simply exploring Montana’s wide-open spaces, Neil loves making the most of everything this great state has to offer.
